For some reason this month, I feel that nothing is finished until I pour plastic on it...
Have lost my mind playing with plastic, hot pink and glitter
In my critique- I was asked if I was "schizophrenic" because these prints came out of no where and have nothing to do with my current work... I have no excuse- I just love glitter

I had this crazy idea after i hadnt slept for a while, to print an inkjet color print i made onto thin paper, and then chine colle it with the etching . The water will activate the inkjet print to bleed when put through the press and it would tie dye. Today when I picked it up, I relaize i did all of this work, and all i have is a tie dye print...

Velvet Spring 2010 lookbook
This summer, I was given the opportunity to come up with a concept board with archive photos I collect, and design the set of the Velvet spring 2010 look book. My objective was to try to create lace-like depth by using several layers of white. I created all the backdrops with white paper and xacto knife. I chose all white furniture from the prop house, we draped this great paper (that I use for etching) over the furniture, which added great texture to the slick leather. I worked with art director Leslie Rutledge, we make a great team, and I want to thank her and the designers of Velvet for such a great experience!
